original plan. Axial stack to former cottages; external lateral brick stack to
rear of main range. 2 storeys.
Exterior. Front: Main range (ie the original public house), 3-window range; first
floor : 1 16-pane hornless sash window, and to the right, 2 tripartite 4:12:4
hornless sash windows. Ground floor : 2 doors, a tripartite sash window (as above)
in between. The right-hand door (to the public bar) is cut into what was originally
another tripartite sash window. 2 similar windows to right-hand end elevation,
overlooking The Square. The lower range, formerly cottages, with three 16-pane
hornless sash windows to first floor; ground floor with another similar sash
window, a tripartite sash window (with door between) and a C20 2-light casement to
the right.
