Barn. Circa 1800. Timber framed, weatherboarded, roofed with corrugated
asbestos, and corrugated iron over midstrey. 5 bays aligned NE-SW, with
midstrey to SE. Open lean-to shelter to NE of midstrey, roofed with corrugated
iron. Lower walls built up with rendered brickwork and breeze block. Primary
straight bracing in walls, face-halved and bladed scarfs in wallplates, hanging
knees to tiebeams, butt-purlin roof with collars above purlins. Comprises part
of a complete group of farm buildings within the village, a rare survival.
