Gate posts. 1899-1905 by Thomas Mawson. Granite ashlar. Gate posts between rear
drive and service courtyard. Square in section with projecting pilasters on each
side (those on the inner faces not full height and scroll-headed). The plinth and
flat head is moulded.
These gate posts are part of an extensive landscaping scheme conceived by Mawson to
go with the rebuilding of Wood House (q.v.).
