Outbuilding immediately to south-south-east of Yeo Farmhouse

Outbuilding likely originally to have been a detached kitchen. Circa late C17.
rubble and cob walls. Gable ended corrugated iron roof.
Plan: Rectangular plan of 2 rooms, larger one to left has wide gable end fireplace
with circular chamber adjoining which was probably used for curing meat.
Exterior: 1 storey with loft. Asymmetrical front with door towards right end and 2
windows to the left which have square section wooden mullions. Leanto roof above
them and wooden steps at left end leading to loft steps. Later outbuilding,
possibly stable projects from left end with 2 doorways.
Interior: Insubstantial rough chamfered beams. Fireplace has wooden lintel which
has had a wall built up below it. The curing chamber has a corbelled cob roof with
a flue leading into the fireplace flue.
