- the Thorne family immediately to
north of Lake Methodist Chapel
GV II
4 headstones. Dated 1872, 1874, 1873 and 1883 to James, Catherine, Samuel and Mary
Thorne. Slate. Epitaphs carved beneath inscriptions. Mary was daughter of William
o'Bryan, founder of the Bible Christian Movement at Lake, Shebbear. Samuel Thorne
was her husband and a printer and James Thorne was a preacher as was Catherine.
