Circa 1840. Greek Revival. Four pairs designed to look like single detached houses
with 2 storey, 3 window stucco fronts. Centre windows blind, ground floor windows
have pediments and in some cases acroteria. Wide eaves with brackets, hipped roofs,
dormers. Quoin pilasters have incised lines and variations of honeysuckle motif.
Entrance porches at sides, mostly altered, Nos 3 and 4 have Tuscan porches with
broken pediments. Slate roofs with central chimney stack.
Nos 1 to 12 (consec) form a group.
