Very interesting late C17 3 storey, 3 windows, red brick front showing Dutch influence.
Stone quoins and cornice, the latter with heavy ovolo moulding. Short lengths of
cornice above windows, and semicircular pediment above central 2nd floor window.
Brickwork panels, late C18 sash windows. Shop-front is modern, shared with No
39. Hipped slate roof. Rather older timber-framed building behind, no visible
internal features.
Nos 39 to 47 (consec) form a group.
