Constructed 1834. Cast-iron shafted piers support joists from which spring the
six rows of arched girders on which the road is carried. Quatrefoil piercings
to the outer rows of girders. At road level there are cast iron balustrades of
Gothic design, incorporating lamp standards. Designed and made by Russell and
Brown of Worcester.
