House. Early C19 for Yarborough Estate. Yellow brick in Flemish bond.
Concrete tile roof. L-shaped on plan: 2-room (now 1) central entrance south
front with 2-room wing to rear left. 2 storeys, 3 bays; symmetrical. C20
French window beneath painted stone keyed and channelled cambered wedge
lintel, flanked by 15-pane sashes in flush wooden architraves with stone
sills and similar lintels. First floor: 12-pane sashes and central painted
dummy window in similar openings, Hipped roof. End stacks. Dentilled
brick eaves cornice to returns. Rear wing: C20 glazed door and casements in
original openings with similar lintels to front. Interior: beaded-panel
window shutters and 6-panel doors in architraves; open well staircase with
moulded handrail and column balusters. Included for group value.
