House. c1770 with late C18 and late C19 additions to right and rear ranges.
Roughcast and colour-washed with stone dressings and graduated slate roofs.
Original block of 2 storeys, 3 bays: late C18 extension of 2 storeys and
single bay to right. Central glazed and panelled door with radial glazing
in round-headed architrave and Ionic doorcase: fluted frieze with paterae
under a pediment. To right and left are 2-storey canted bays: 3 sashes with
glazing bars and sills to each bay at each level. First-floor band. Sash
with glazing bars on bracketed sill in eared architrave with chambranles
over door. Moulded eaves cornice, low coped parapet with recessed
balustraded panels. End stacks, raised coped gables. Late C18 extension to
right has to ground floor a sash with sill and glazing bars: first-floor
band and a similar sash to first floor. End stack to right. Late C19
extension to right not of special interest.
