Stable block. Early C19. Yellow brick, graduated slate roofs. Central 2-
storey, 3-bay block with an advanced 3-storey central tower, flanked by
lower 4-bay wings. Gothick style. Central double-leaf glazed and panelled
door with fanlight under pointed arch in larger pointed opening. Above, a
coat of arms beneath paired lancets with shared hoodmould. Tall square-
headed boarded opening under hoodmould above. Dentilled cornice,
crenellated parapet. Octagonal timber cupola with modillion cornice and
copper dome with ball finial. To right and left of the central door are 2-
light pointed openings with Gothick glazing bars in Perpendicular style
under hoodmoulds. First floor: paired 8-pane sashes under cambered gauged
brick arches and a single hoodmould, to right and to left. Moulded cornice,
crenellated parapet. To left and right are the wings which have tall blank
pointed openings punctuated by buttresses with offsets. Scattered C19
fenestration. Dentilled pediment, hipped roof. Rear elevations with round
arches.
