House. C17 or early C18, renovated early C19. Timber frame roughcast.
Painted brick casing to ground floor in N part and to E wall in S part.
Steep pitched roof now slated, with plaster soffit to eaves. A
1½-storeys 2-cells house running up the slope and entered in its N gable
end next road. Internal E wall chimney to N bay. N front has plain
bargeboards, one sash window central (3/6 panes in flush frame) and an
early C19 canted bay window with small panes casements to left of plank
door up 2 steps in heavy frame under segmental arch. W side has a large
flush 2-lights casement window to S bay with small panes. 3-lights
casement in gabled dormer at eaves above. Included for group value.
