Barn. Early C17, converted for grain processing C20. Timber frame on
tall red brick sill, dark weatherboarded with steep pitched roof
half-hipped now of corrugated iron. A 3-bays tall barn facing E with
double doors in middle bay. Jowled posts, unjowled mid-bay posts,
mid-height rail jointed in-line, straight tension braces, clasped-purlin
roof with 2 purlins to each slope. High collar supports upper purlin,
inclined queen-posts to lower purlin inside but 2 collars in gable-end
trusses. Projection on roof for elevator.
