Large mid C18 house of 2 storeys and attic, 7 windows, built for the
painter, Vandermoulen. Purplish-brown brick with vermilion brick dressings.
Brick cornice and parapet rising to pediment over slightly projecting,
3-bay centre. Gauged, brick arches to windows in shallow, plain reveals;
a lunette in pediment, square-headed sash windows on both sides; and a
Venetian window, with carved keystone, and stone impost blocks, at 1st floor
centre. 7 steps to central door of 6 fielded panels, in panelled reveal,
with moulded architrave.
Doorcase of order with Tuscan columns, triglyph frieze and mutule cornice
and pediment.
