C16 timber framed building with remains of jettied front. 2 storeys,
2 windows. High pitched roof, renewed with machine tiles. Roughcast
1st floor, rendered ground floor. Weatherboarded north return, brick
south return., 2 gabled extensions to rear. Modern glazing, almost
continuous on 1st floor. Inside some exposed beams including heavy
tie-beams and queen posts in long, 1st floor room.
Doors replaced, but in character with building.
