1829. 3 storeys and attic, 3 windows. Very large scale. Built by George
Smith, architect of the Town Hall, in stone. Raised attic (probably later)
with dormers behind pediment-shaped parapet. Plain reveals to large sash
windows with very narrow frames and glazing bars. Architrave and blocking
course at 1st floor level. Projecting central porch with entablature
and blocking course over quasi-Ionic pilasters. 5 steps to door with
shouldered architrave.
