House. C16/17 timber frame with C19 and C20 additions forming an
interwoven group on a canted plan. Red brick, plaster and
stucco. Some exposed timber frame. Plain tile and machine tile
roofs. 1-2 storeys. Low range facing Monks Lane may be earliest
part: 1 storey and attics, 3 casements and 3 box dormers.
Behind this is a 2-storey mid-C19 block, probably encasing an
earlier structure. Towards Lamb Lane is a C19 gable end with 1
casement, and adjoining the Lane a lower timber frame range with
red brick casing and 2 box casement dormers. Circa 1950 gable
ended addition; catslide roof at rear.
