1905-6 by M H Baillie-Scott. House with open-plan ground floor and 2 storey
studio wing. Altered 1929 by Cecil Hignett. Vernacular style. One and
a half storeys. Main south front with irregular fenestration and projecting
central gabled bay. Tiled roof. Brick stacks with weathered offsets to
gable chimney. Roughcast walls. Flat-topped dormer casements. Ranges
of mullioned casements with leaded lights and tile labels. Studio wing with
5-light transom and mullion window on north side. Two storey studio with
open timber roof. Good joinery and ironmongery.
