Farmhouse. C16, extended to form L plan in C17. C18 and early
C19 red brick casing. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys. Road
elevation has 2 half-hipped gable ends with exposed studwork,
heavier on E. Sinqle storey weatherboarded shed at W end. Main
range is in 4 parts and has 3 segmental-headed glazing-bar
casements on W side. 2 bays nearest road are earliest and have
in the middle a large C16 inglenook with roll-moulded lintel. 2
furthest bays are C18 and 1825 (dated brick) with brick dentilled
eaves. Ridge chimney stack of joined square shafts. (RCHM
