GV II


House. Early to mid C17, extended C19. Timber frame on brick base.
Panelled rendering. Tiled roof. Lobby entry, originally 2 cells,
extended at both ends. 2 storeys. Entrance now to right of centre, an
early C19 6 panelled door with 4 fielded panels, architrave, all in a
C20 glazed porch. Over entrance a single light casement. Flanking bays
have flush frame small pane 2 light casements. Axial ridge stack behind
entrance has 3 conjoined diagonally set shafts. Further left on added
bay is a tiled and shingled shallow projection and a large 3 light bay
window with a 2 light gabled dormer. Left end extruded stack with
offsets. Right end weatherboarded and half hipped, 1 and 2 light
casements. To rear scattered small pane casements and 2 C20 1 storey
flat roofed additions of no special interest. Interior not inspected.
