House. c.1800, extended C20. Clay lump, predominantly chalk. Stuccoed with
red brick dressings. Steeply pitched tiled roof. Symmetrical 3 bay lobby
entry plan. 2 storeys and attic. Central entrance: recessed 6 panelled door,
doorcase with panelled lintel and jambs, brackets to flat leaded hood. Outer
bays have tripartite horizontal sliding sashes, recessed with gauged brick
flat arched heads in full height red brick strips. Red brick framing doorcase
and a small traceried elliptical false window on first floor above entrance.
Elsewhere on front stucco is rusticated in imitation of ashlar blocks. Brick
plinth and strips at return angles. Central cross axial ridge stack. Plain
rendered returns with a ground floor 12 pane flush frame sash and an attic
light to left. Right end has an entrance into a ground floor conservatory
outshut, first floor and attic 2 light casements. Red brick strips at rear
angles. C20 additions to rear and left.
