House. C17, brick cased and altered in C18 and C19. Timber frame cased
in red brick with steep old red tile roof. A rectangular, 2-storeys
house facing S with gable end to lane. Distinct change of alignment of S
wall a third from W end where a large internal axial chimney emerges
from roof along the N side of the roofridge, with 3 diagonally set
square shafts. W gable has a recessed 2-lights casement window to each
floor under segmental arches. Moulded bargeboard and evidence for a
side-purlin roof.
