GV II

Barn. Late C16, C19 roof and rebuilt aisle. Timber frame on red
brick sill, dark weatherboarded with low-pitched slate roof. A
4-bay, single-aisled barn facing N with double-doors in 2nd bay
from W and aisle on S. Jowled posts with ogee moulding at
thickening, long curved braces to cambered-tie beams and arcade
plate. 2 braces to tie-beam from post on NW of door-bay. Curved
tension braces in walls above mid-height rail. Walls heightened
and aisle rebuilt in C19 with queen-strut roof.
