C17 house of 2 storeys, the upper storey overhanging and supported at
intervals by canted bays projecting from ground level. Carved wooden
cornice below tiled gambrel roof with four dormers (Yorkshire lights).
Plastered facade, 4 C18 windows, each of turn sashes in a single broad
frame. Two doors, each of six panels (top pair glazed, remainder fielded).
Separate section at one end contains a carriage-way, within which can
be seen the old halftimber construction. No 24 has Neogeorgian shop bow
windows and glazed door. No 23 has canted bay and C19 shop window.

Nos 21 to 28 (consec) form a group.
