1904-5 by Geoffrey Lucas. Two blocks of cottages in vernacular style. Designed
as ploughmen's cottages for the Garden City Company. Awarded first prize
in class III of the 1905 Cheap Cottages Exhibition. One and a half storeys.
Each block with symmetrical fronts with paired, central, gabled dormers.
Tiled roofs. Yeoman Tudor, red brick chimney stacks with moulded caps and
gabled offsets. Roughcast first floor and dormers. Red brick ground floor.
Tiled string at first floor level. Three and 4 light casement windows with
glazing bars. Boarded doors.
