Farmhouse. Early C18 or late C17. Mainly brick, some sandstone, right
ground floor; Welsh slate roof. Long narrow block with small stair projec-
tion central, back; stacks just right of centre, right gable, and recent back.
Two and a half storeys, four windowed ground floor including two-light case-
ment in part blocked opening under four-centred brick arch; first floor
blocked opening, then four-light casement, both under four-centred brick
arches, three-light casement under segmental arch; four light casement, some
leading, in single dormer, left. Six panel door left, leads to through
passage; blocked doorway far right. Three course string mid level. Main
roof trusses spring from propped knuckle brackets, c. 190 x 100 mm. This
was also site of tanning mill until 1922 (VCH).
