NY 52 SE GREAT STRICKLAND GREAT STRICKLAND

Farmhouse. Dated and inscribed over entrance E & ES 1742. Painted rubble
walls, under graduated greenslate roof with C20 brick chimney stacks, one
roughcast. 2 storeys, 5 bays. Off-centre plank door in painted chamfered
surround with inscribed lintel. 2-light flat stone-mullioned windows left of
entrance, one with its mullion removed, and one single-light window under a C19
insertion. Right ground-floor 3-light flat stone-mullioned window. Different
periods of C18 and C19 outshuts, some of brick.
