Early C17, restored pargetted front, old red tile roof. Two storeys. Ground floor
has good early C19 double projecting shop front, 40 panes each side. Double central
door with lozenge "chinoiserie" panes. Three first floor sash windows and one modern
oriel. Four hipped roofs to street. Modern shop front on east side ground floor.
Interior. Exposed ceiling timber beams behind old shop front. Plaster ceiling with
Bishop of London motifs behind modern shop front. Large amount of exposed wall and
ceiling timbers and some repositioned contemporary oak panelling on first floor.
No 11 continues on west in an early/mid C19 painted brick (formerly No 9). Three
storeys, one window elevation with hipped slate roof. Double-hung first floor and
single second floor sash windows.
