Gate posts, gates and screen to Hatfield House. Erected late C19
by Third Marquess of Salisbury on station approach to house.
White composite stone piers with 3 panels of strapwork ornament
and surmounted by statues of lions holding shields. 3 gates 6:9:6
panels wide and 4 panels high, each panel with intricate cast-
iron strapwork and grotesque ornament. Scrolled overthrows.
