House. Late C16 with C19 E extensions. Red brick. Old tile
roofs on T-plan. 2 storeys and attics. Large cross wing on W
has crow-stepped gables and central chimney stack with conjoined
square shafts. Rear east projection of same date with crow-
stepped gable. Wood mullioned casement windows. Lower E
extension in 2 blocks with porch. Modern extension on W. Home
of George Bernard Shaw, 1904 - 6.
