City of London Coal Duty Marker. 1861. Cast by H. Grissell, Regents
Canal Ironworks. Cast-iron square pier, one and a half metres high,
painted white. Chamfered corners. Pyramid cap. City of London crest on
necking. Raised lettering on front face of shaft '24 and 25 Vict/Cap 42'
nearly obscured. Placed outside house of Collector of the Coal Duties on
the Grand Junction Canal. Included for group value. See Stockers House,
STOCKERS FARM ROAD.
