House, now two shops. Early C17, refronted early C19 with some late C20
alterations. Timber-frame clad in rendered brick with slate roof, stack
to rear. Three storeys, boxed wooden eaves; two windows: 16-pane sashes
in moulded architraves; second floor: 8-pane horizontally sliding sashes;
ground floor: to left a bow window, to left-hand corner entrance with door
which has two glazed panels with Gothick heads; roughly central entrance
to a passage with moulded wooden architrave; to right-hand side square bay
shop window of four lights, entrance to left of window has half-glazed door.
Framing: moulded bressummer of first floor visible in shop window to right;
heavily moulded beam in right-hand first floor room, other beams chamfered
and stopped.
