Two houses. Late C18 with some late C20 alterations. Brick with slate
roof. Three storeys, dentilled brick cornice, three windows: 16-pane sash to
left, other two are glazing bar sashes, under flat arches with stepped voussoirs;
second floor: 8- and 6-pane sashes, under segmental heads; ground floor: to left
no 74 has a pilastered shop front with canopy, central entrance approached by
two stone steps with fluted pilasters and six flush panel door, flanked by
multi-pane slightly bowed shop windows; to right no 73 has two glazing bar
sashes with stepped voussoirs to heads, entrance between has a moulded wooden
architrave, a flat canopy on brackets and a six flush panel door, the upper
two glazed.
