House. Dated 1635, restored mid-C20. Timber-frame stuccoed, with machine
tile roof. Large central stack with four star-plan brick shafts, lobby-
entrance. Symmetrical facade of two storeys with full-height projecting
porch, attics light by casements in gables; three windows: C20 canted oriels
in C17 style. Central entrance has C20 two-leaf door, behind which is the
C17 entrance with original door. To left a lower range (possibly C16) with
a single window, then a mid-C20 nursery wing. Interior: C17 plaster ceiling
to left-hand first floor room.
