Dwelling. Late C18 or early C19. Rendered and ashlared, bitumenised slate roof to gable stacks and further long deep ridge stack in back wing. Part parallel range and with back wing forming T-plan. Three storeys, five windowed, nine pane top floor over twelve pane sashes, ground and first floors, central six panel door, fluted pilasters and open pediment. Original shutters remain inside to ground floor. The building holds a commanding position directly facing the road over Chepstow Bridge (qv).
