Former School and School Mistress house. Mid-late C19. Early
Gothic style. Red brick, stone dressings. Steeply pitched slate
roofs. 1 storey and attics. Prominent polygonal tower on W side
with polychrome banding, dentilled cornice and patterned slate
roof. N elevation has 2 ornamental bargeboards over projecting
bays. Mullioned and transomed ground floor windows and cusped
attic rounded on left hand side. E gable end has cusped
bargeboards and large 4-centre arch window. Included for group
value.
