2 houses, now 3 houses. Late C17, brick casing to No.3 C18, to Nos. 1,
and 2 C19 with parallel rear extensions, and further parallel gabled
extension to No. 1 in 1984. Timber frame cased in red brick of 2
periods, flint gable to end of rear extension at No. 1 with roughcast
large external N gable chimney to house. Roughcast S gable to No. 2
above roof of No. 3. No. 3 has brick nogged timber frame S gable and
single-storey dark weatherboarded S extension. Old red tile roofs. A
picturesque group of 2 storeys houses facing W with N gable to the road.
Nos. 1 and 2 on LH are taller with segmental arches to windows. 3-light
flush small-pane casement windows. 2 windows to each floor and 6-panel
central door. LH window altered to a 3-light flat bow. Gable chimney on
LH and rear lateral stack to No. 2 on RH. Lower No. 3 on S has C18 brick
front, dentilled eaves course, 3 upper windows and door central below.
Small 2-light casement windows with segmental arches to ground floor and
plank door. Single-storey weatherboarded S extension has large chimney
against end of house and a triangular oriel window. Interior walls have
slender timber framing.
