Block of 3 houses. C18, or earlier building refronted ('IK 1762' cut in
brick on front of No. 46). No. 50 C19. Said to be timber framed. Red
brick front and S end, tilehung S gable, old red tile steep roof.
Originally a pair of 16 storeys and cellar houses facing E, with 3
windows, 2 doors, shared central chimney, and 3 gabled dormers at the
eaves. S extension (No. 50) of same height and matching materials has an
external S gable chimney, a matching dormer and a small-paned casement
window adjoining the doorpost. The 3-light casement windows of the older
part have segmental arches and external shutters. 4-panel flush beaded
doors alternate. Segmental arch to central cellar windows.
