Row of three houses, now shop and offices. Early C19 with mid-C20 alterations.
Painted stuccoed brick; shallow-pitched slate roofs with brick ridge stacks.
Three storeys with moulded eaves cornices. 3:2:2 bays; first floor windows are
16-pane sashes except for 4-pane sash in first bay and 16-pane C20 casement in
fourth bay; second floor windows are all 6-pane sashes; ground floor of Nos 9
and 10 have plain shop fronts, two doorways with moulded flat canopies and C20
doors and there is a harrow archway with a cambered head to left of centre;
No 11 has hipped continuous tiled C20 canopy above two C20 bow windows and a
half-glazed C20 door. No 12 has a large C20 plate glass shop front and glazed
door and, to left, a carriage archway with a cambered head. Interior not
inspected.
