House. C17. Timber-framed with part wattle-and-daub and part C20
infill, sandstone plinth and later additions, further brick additions,
thatched roof, half-hip to west, formerly house of two framed bays with
adjoining barn, now converted to dwelling with continuous roof line, C20
addition to rear (south) and altered lean-to C20 porch to front (north)
entrance to east through lean-to. Single storey and attic; south front,
four eyebrow dormers with 2-light C20 glazing bar casements; ground floor
lean-to to left with bow window, blocked window to right return, irregularly
proportioned 2-light glazing bar casements to right of lean-to. C20 door
to east, large east external gable-end stack with bread oven. Framing
appears fairly complete though renewed in parts, three square panels from
sill to wall-plate, V-struts in gable.
