House. Late C18 or early C19, remodelled late C19. Coursed and dressed
sandstone, hipped slate roof, single depth with central entrance and end
stacks, later additions to rear. Two storeys; string course; three windows
glazing bar sashes with flat_arches, C19 canted bay to right of open porch,
partly glazed door with decorative overlight. This house occupies a
prominent position opposite the Church of St Mary (qv) and is included for
group value.
