Farmhouse. Probably C17, substantially remodelled in mid-C19. Sandstone
rubble with sandstone and gault brick dressings, Welsh slate roofs and brick
stacks. Irregular plan. Two storeys and attics. Main front facing east-
south-east has four windows, a gable front at each end and a gabled porch
of two storeys to left of centre; left gable has buttress to left corner
and late C19 sash; porch has first floor 2-light mid-C19 casement under
segmental head; to the right the ground floor has three sashes with gault
brick jambs; the first floor window to the right of the porch is a 6-pane
late C19 sash; the first floor and attic windows of the right gable front
are 2-light mid-C19 casements; entrance porch has 4-centred arch and hood
mould, probably C17, leading to ledged door. Attached to right is a mid-
C19 lean-to, with a deep cellar and barrel ramp, probably for cider; to
the rear are a kitchen and dairy range arranged as a rough quadrangle.
Interior of principal ground floor room to right of porch, noted as having
finely moulded beams with cyma chamfer stops.
