Farmhouse. Probably late C17 to early C18 with later alterations. Timber-
frame and sandstone rubble, partly finished in render. Welsh slate roofs
and brick stack. Irregular plan with main range aligned north-west/south-east
and cross-wing at east end. Two storeys. South-west elevation has 1:2:1
windows, mid-C20 top vent casements. Glazed contemporary door under lean-to
canopy immediately to right of left gable front. Cross-wing to south-east
has exposed timber-framing two square panels high above first floor and queen
struts to north gable. To north of cross-wing is a single-storey mid-C19 wash-
house and bakehouse extension. Interior has chamfered beams dividing ceiling of
principal ground floor room into panels. Many beams have asymmetrical pyramidical
stops to chamfers. Main range has pegged king-posts rising from tie-beams.
