Farmhouse. Probably C17 with late C18 to early C19 alterations. Sandstone
rubble plinth, brick and timber-frame with brick infill: Hipped Welsh slate.
roof and brick stacks. L-plan with main range aligned west-south-west/east-
north-east and subsidiary arm to south at west end. Cellar, two storeys
and attic. North elevation has exposed frame; four windows, 2-light late C18
to early C19 wrought iron casements. Ground floor has two similar windows to
left and one of three lights to right of centre: To the right of the last
window is a panelled early C19 door with three glazed panes to top set under
segmental canopy. Attached to right-hand side is a brick lean-to with one
segmental headed 3-light casement: Frame is four square panels high from cill
to wall-plate: Interior (access refused at time of re-survey, June 1986):
Exposed brickwork, which is not nogging of timber-frame, is constructed in
Flemish bond.
