House, now sub-divided into two tenements. Early C18 brick painted to
north-west side; hipped tiled roof. Irregular plan with main house to
north-west and facing north-west, extending to south-east with further
wing aligned north-east/south-west and now that part called the Farmhouse.
Two storeys with attics and cellars. North-west front: string course, two
dormer windows. Three glazing bar sash windows and central doorway with
six-panelled door having two glazed upper panels; plain overlight. Two-
storey canted bay window to right-hand return. Interior was inaccessible
at time of resurvey, July 1986, but said to retain the contemporary panelling
and staircase mentioned by RCHM. (RCHM, Vol I, p 224).
