of Church of St Mary
GV II
Three chest tombs. Early C19. Ashlar. Arranged side by side. Three
identical memorials, apart from inscriptions. Corner balusters, moulded
cornice, flat top, the inscription panels are raised and fielded.
(1) to north, Walter Watkins died 1824; (2) in middle, Elizabeth James died
1860; (3) to south, Mary Watkins died 1838. Although Elizabeth James died
in 1860, the tomb in question was obviously constructed in the early C19.
