2/138 Cart shed and granary
west of Langstone Court


GV II


Cart shed and granary. Late C17 or early C18, altered roof. Sandstone rubble,
and timber-framed upper storey, slate roof. Rectangular plan, four bays,
open-fronted lower storey with Tuscan piers, rubble gable to west with steps
up to first floor, chamfered square-headed doorway. Late C18-looking roof
structure with dropped tie construction at front but roof structure continued
to tie-beam level at rear. Adjoining mid-C19 cow house not included.
