Inn. c1830 in the style of Edward Blore's Goodrich Court (now demolished),
altered C20. Ashlar and coursed sandstone rubble, slate roofs. Irregular
plan of two blocks, north block slightly lower and set forward, square
slightly forward projecting turret in angle, entrances toward centre
and south of north block, C20 additions at rear. Picturesque Tudor-Gothic
style. Two storeys, decorative corbelled mock bell-cote to north gable end,
pair of shouldered lights with square-headed surrounds and tall full length
traceried window with gable flank central doorway with shouldered lintel,
second doorway to right of tall window, turret with square broach spire
and adjoining pinnacle to outer corner further to right, south block with
three pairs of similar windows with shouldered lintels in square-headed
surrounds.
