Chest tombs dating from C18 and early C19. Sandstone ashlar, rectangular
plan with moulded plinths and capping:
Defaced tomb approximately 0.5 m south-west of porch, C18, oval insets to
short sides, defaced inscription to capping.
Rideout memorial, 1717, shaped end panels and cartouche, oval inscription
panel to long sides with folial surround.
Gwatkin memorial, mid-C18, decorated balusters flank inscription panel
with cartouche, further cartouche to short sides. Commemorates Richard
Gwatkin, died 1738, and wife Mary Gwatkin, died 1747.
Evett memorial, C18, shaped end panels with swags, cartouche to inscription
panel to long sides, largely defaced.
Hawley/Scudamore memorial, 1760, three-quarter corner balusters flank
inscription panel with cartouche and cherub head, cartouches to short sides,
swagged drapery with head to north side.
Wellington memorial, 1825, plain balusters flank fielded inscription panels.
Perkins memorial, 1765, balusters flank fielded inscription panels. Commemor-
ates Richard Perkins and Jane Perkins.
Perkins memorial, 1737, with elaborate shaped ends and decorative cartouches
to ends and to inscription panels. Commemorates wife of Richard Perkins
(name illegible) died 1737, and Elizabeth Perkins, died 1767.
Bennett memorial, 1833, raised surface to capping, balusters flank fielded
inscription panel with florettes in corners, band of reeding below capping.
Sier memorial, 1765, plain balusters flank inscription panel.
Defaced tomb, 0.5 m south of Bennett and Sier memorials, late C18, three-
quarter corner balusters flank inscription panel with oval inset, defaced
cartouche to short sides.
Pritchard memorial, C18, shaped end panels flank inscription panels with
folial decoration, circular inset to shart sides with scroll and folial
decoration. Commemorates Anne Pritchard, died 1696 and James Pritchard,
died 1714.
Dew memorial, 1770, with plain balusters flanking inscription panel.
Thomas Dew memorial, 1816, decorated three-quarter corner balusters flank
rectangular inscription panel with oval inset and folial motif in spandrels.
Thomas Dew memorial, 1735, elaborate tomb with shaped end panels heavily
embellished with swags, scrolls and folial ornament, swagged surrounds to
inscription panels.
Sier memorial, 1817, decorated balusters flank fielded inscription panels
with folial ornament in angles. Commemorates James Sier, died 1817.
Three defaced tombs, early C19. Nearest church, mainly Dew memorials with
balusters and fielded inscription panels, inscriptions largely illegible.
