Farmhouse, c.1780 built for Croome Estate. Red brick on slag plinth with some
stone dressings. Gable ended plain tile roof with end wall stacks. 2 storey
and attic, regular 3-window range. North front: 3 pedimented dormers, moulded
stone eaves cornice. Windows contained in 3 large arched recesses with gauged
brick arches and stone band carried right across at first floor level. Glazing
bar sash windows with gauged brick flat heads. Central round arched doorway,
radiating bar fanlight and flush panel door. Later trellis porch. Rear: brick
dentilled eaves, renewed casements with top-lights to windows. Gauged brick
window heads. 3 dormers.
